Ingredients:

  • 1/2 oz. Gladys' Gourmet Blue Curacao Syrup.
  • Coca cola.
  • 1 Scoop Crushed Ice.
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except the cola in a shaker. Pour the mixture into a chilled glass. Top with the coca cola.

Yield:
One 8-ounce serving.

Blue Chimney Smoke

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 oz. Gladys' Gourmet Blue Curacao Syrup.
  • 1 Scoop Crushed Ice.
  • 4 oz. Chilled Orange Juice.
Directions:
Place ice in a large wineglass. Add the orange juice and stir. Float the syrup on top.

Yield:
One 8-ounce serving.

Blue Cool

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 oz. Gladys' Gourmet Blue Curacao Syrup.
  • Lemon-lime soda.
  • Lemon slice.
Directions:
In a glass, stir together the syrup and several ice cubes.
Top off with soda and stir.
Garnish with the lemon slice.

Yield:
One 8-ounce serving.

Blue Whale

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 oz. Gladys' Gourmet Blue Curacao Syrup.
  • 1 Cup Ice.
  • 1 oz. Coconut Cream.
Directions:
Combine all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a chilled glass.

Yield:
One 8-ounce serving.

Corcovado

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 oz. Gladys' Gourmet Blue Curacao Syrup.
  • Lemonade.
  • Lemon Slice.
  • 1 Scoop Crushed Ice.
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except the lemonade and the lemon slice in a shaker. Strain into a glass and top off with the lemonade. Garnish with the lemon slice.

Yield:
One 8-ounce serving.

Green Eye-Opener

Ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 oz. Gladys' Gourmet Blue Curacao Syrup.
  • 1 oz. half and half.
  • 1/2 oz. White Creme de Cacao.
  • 1 Scoop crushed ice.
Directions:
Mix all ingredients in a shaker. Pour the mixture into a chilled cocktail glass.

Fog City Blues

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 oz. Gladys' Gourmet Blue Curacao Syrup.
  • 1 Scoop crushed ice.
  • 3 oz. orange juice.
Directions:
In a shaker, mix all the ingredients with ice. Pour into a tall glass.

Parrot Rum Punch

Ingredients:

  • 4 TBL spoons Rum.
  • 2 TBL spoons Gladys' Gourmet Blue Curacao Syrup.
  • 2 Cups pineapple juice.
  • 2 Cups orange juice.
  • 1/4 Cup fresh lime juice.
Directions:
Make a pitcher of punch by combining the pineapple juice, orange juice, lime juice and Gladys' Gourmet Rum Syrup. Fill 4 tall glasses with ice and pour 1/2 tablespoon of Gladys' Gourmet Blue Curacao Syrup into each glass. Top off with the prepared punch and serve.

Swimming Pool

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 oz. Gladys' Gourmet Blue Curacao Classic Syrup.
  • 1 Scoop crushed ice.
  • 2 oz. Pineapple juice.
  • 1-1/2 oz. light rum.
  • 1 oz. Heavy cream.
  • 3/4 oz. coconut cream.
Directions:
In a shaker, mix all the ingredients with ice. Pour into a tall glass.

University Cocktail

Ingredients:

  • 1 Teaspoon Gladys' Gourmet Blue Curacao Syrup.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 oz Gladys' Gourmet Orange Syrup.
  • 1/4 pound (1 stick) unsalted butter (softened).
Directions:

Dream Slush

Ingredients:

  • 2 tbs. Glady's Gourmet Orange Syrup.
  • Supply of ice.
  • One packet Carnation vanilla instant breakfast.

Directions:
Chill blender and serving glass. Add ingredients with one cup of ice to blender. Start blender at low and work to higher speeds until smooth drink is produced. Serve in chilled glass.

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 oz Gladys' Gourmet Vanilla Syrup.
  • 1/4 oz Gladys' Gourmet Orange Syrup.

  • 1 oz espresso.
  • 1 1/4 cups ice.
  • 3 oz Half and Half.
Directions:
Add ingredients to blender. Blend on high speed until smooth.

Grilled Orange Glazed Steak

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Gladys' Gourmet Orange Syrup.
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce.
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced or pressed.
  • 1/2 teaspoon oregano flakes.
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt.
  • freshly ground black pepper.
  • 1 1lb. flank steak.
Directions:
Prick the steak all over on both sides with a fork. In a shallow dish or resealable plastic bag, mix together the orange syrup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic, oregano, salt and pepper. Marinate the steak in the syrup mixture for at least 6 hours or overnight. Turn the steak over occasionally to evenly infuse both sides.
Preheat a barbecue or broiler to medium hot.
Clean and lightly oil the grill surface and cook the steak to medium rare, about 4 minutes on each side. Remove the steak from the heat and allow to rest for 5 minutes .
Serve immediately.

Backyard Baked Beans

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons Gladys' Gourmet Caramel Syrup.
  • 1 tablespoon tomato paste.
  • 2 tablespoons molasses.
  • 2 cans (15 oz.) small white beans, drained.
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard.
  • 1 teaspoon salt.
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
  • 4 strips bacon cut into 1/2 inch pieces.
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion (1/2 medium).
  • 1/4 cup apple cider vinegar.
Directions:
In a heavy, medium size saucepan, cook the bacon over medium heat until it begins to brown, about 5-6 minutes. Add the onion, stir well and continue to cook, stirring occasionally until the onion is tender, 5 minutes more.
Deglaze the pan with the vinegar and add the tomato paste, Gladys' Gourmet Caramel Syrup and molasses. Add the beans and season with the dry mustard, salt and pepper. Stir to mix and reduce heat to low. Cover the pan and simmer the beans until the sauce is rich and thick and the beans have absorbed plenty of flavor, about 35-40 minutes.

Blackberry Blondies with Caramel Icing

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon Gladys' Gourmet Caramel Syrup.
  • 1/4 cup Gladys' Gourmet Blackberry Syrup.
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.
  • 1/4 cup blackberry jam.
  • 2 tablespoons grated lemon rind.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice.
  • 2 tablespoons butter.
  • 1 1/4 cup confectioner's sugar, sifted.
  • 2 tablespoons cream.
  • 1 1/4 cups flour.
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  • 1/4 pound (1 stick) butter, softened.
  • 1 large egg.
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar.
Directions:
Caramel Icing:
Heat butter in saucepan until it is a light brown color. Remove from heat. Add syrup, cream and sugar to the saucepan. Mix and frost blondies.
Caramel Icing:
Preheat oven to 350°F. Sift together flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. In a large bowl combine butter, egg, and sugar until well blended. Stir in syrup and flour mixture. Add nuts and spread 1/2 dough into 9 inch square pan. Mix blackberry jam with lemon rind and lemon juice. Drop jam mixture in six places over the dough. Carefully spread the remaining dough on top. With a knife, swirl through the dough in two directions, making a ribbon design. Bake for 30 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean. Frost with caramel icing after cooling.

Caramel Apple Cider

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup Gladys' Gourmet Caramel Syrup.
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice.
  • 1/3 cup dark rum (optional).
  • 8 cups apple cider or apple juice.
  • 2 cinnamon sticks.
  • 8 allspice berries.
  • 1 vanilla bean (split lengthwise, seeds scraped out and set aside) or 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
Directions:
In a non-reactive saucepan, combine the cider, cinnamon, allspice, vanilla (including seeds), syrup and lemon juice. Bring to a boil, lower heat to a simmer and cook 15 minutes. Stir in the liquor (optional) and serve warm. Serves eight.

Angel Food Strawberry Delight

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup Gladys' Gourmet Strawberry Syrup.

  • 1 Angel Food cake, prepared according to package directions,cool whip.
  • cocoa powder, chocolate sprinkles, or chocolate shavings.
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons water.
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch.
  • 2 pints fresh strawberries, sliced.
Directions:
In a small saucepan on medium low heat, combine strawberry syrup, and 1/2 cup water. In a separate bowl, dissolve the cornstarch in the 2 tablespoons of water. Slowly thicken the strawberry syrup and water. Cool in the refrigerator. Before serving, add the sliced strawberries to the mixture.
To assemble the dessert, place 3 tablespoons chocolate syrup on a dessert plate. Slice a piece of angel food cake and place on the plate. Spoon three large spoonfuls of the strawberry mixture on top of the cake. Top with cool whip. Garnish with cocoa powder, chocolate sprinkles or chocolate shavings.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup Gladys' Gourmet Mango Syrup.
  • 1/2 cup cold water.
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple, drained.
  • 1 pound sour cream.
  • 1/2 cup pecans, finely chopped.
  • 1 large package lime jello.
  • 2 cups boiling water.
Directions:
Dissolve jello in boiling water. Add the syrup and cold water and put in the refrigerator until the jello is the consistency of raw egg white. Mix in the pineapple, sour cream and pecans and put in a decorative mold or bowl. Unmold before serving.

Peach Mango Fruit Pop

Ingredients:

  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice.
  • 1-1/2 cups chopped peaches, fresh or frozen.
